Windows 7 User Submissions

Windows7 and my Gateway M210

I picked up an older GATEWAY M210 laptop in decent condition- NOT GOOD ENOUGH...

i first tossed in a 512 memory chip in the empty slot- helped some- never satisfied i replaced the 1.5 ghz cpu with a PENTIUM M 760 2.0 GHZ processor and then loaded WINDOWS 7...

its been fun trying to track down all the proper drivers and the only one i don't yet have is the video driver... but... i am hoping to find out if i any other chipset is compatible with this N200SX motherboard- still running the 855 chipset...

the processor info says it requires the INTEL 915 express chipset as a minimum... but its holding up so far... i would greatly appreciate anyone with more savvy to advise on possible compatibilities -

although it has on many occasions seemed ridiculous to spend as much time trying, my obsessive labors have yielded a pretty quick little setup- and if anyone else has anything like this has any problems getting this far i'd be happy to help them out ... thanks in advance
