I got a free upgrade for vista for 32 bit windows 7.
The PC was very fast (formerly running on XP Pro) but I wanted more.
So I went and spend some bucks to buy the Windows 7, 64 bit as well.
There seems to degradation in performance over 32 bit, especially for Photoshop CS3.
I read all the posts in various columns and upgraded all the drivers – the performance did not improve much.
I will try with additional RAM soon. For reference my system config is given below:
Asus PQ5 SE plus
DDR2 4 GB
NVidia GE force EN9500GT
Intel Core Quad Q8200 2.33 GHZ
Photoshop CS3 10.00
