Comments like "not good enough" are hardly helpful.
Latest drivers for ATI Graphics are proving a problem. especially when win 7 suggestion reference links back to vista 32 bit drivers through windows update. come on people I know you can do better than this.

It sounds like you can get to device manager which means you at least have video and are able to see device manager. If these two things are true then more than likely, you should be able to check the manufacturers web site for a W7 driver. I have seen this issue twice and it is a very easy solution.
Windows 7 has the best driver pool and handles drivers better than any MS OS I have ever worked on.
