If you are using windows IE as your default browser this might cause issue with your updates,
the recent updates of june 2010 installed straight away with no issues i have google as my default browser,my brother also had the same issue with downloading the updates as he was using IE as his default browser soon as he switched to google the updates came down and installed correctly.
