Windows 7 OK in My Book

I installed Win7 on a HP Media Center PC that formerly ran Vista. I have had no problems with either of them. Since I installed W7 over 2 months ago, I've had 1 BSOD. Something isn't right with your system. Did you try 32 bit instead of 64? Are you sure your machine has the horsepower to run W7? About the only help I can offer is to keep trying. Vista and now Win 7 have both worked fine for me. I just ordered another copy of Win 7 for my Asus netbook.

Time to reinstall and try again

Now I have 2 Versions of 7 Ultimate on my system both 32 and 64 Bit as well as 32 and 64 Bit Vista Ultimate's and I have run and installed over 40 games without a problem on both versions of 7. Unless what you are trying to install are meant for xp only or lower you shouldn't have any problems. I know you shouldn't have problems if your programs and games are Vista compliant since the kernels are not that different. As in your problem with drivers check the manufacturers websites for updates and if you can't find any then UPGRADE! You went out and got this OS to use it not whine about it. With EVERY New OS there will be compatibility problems like from 2000 to XP everyone swore up and down that XP sucked and God I remember the same things being said with Vista. A lot of these problems will be over by the time SP1 is released. Next time please put up your system specs, what problems you are having (Be Specific) and what drivers you need so your problem is easier to address.

I really dont see what everyones problem with win 7 is
I was never really a big windows fan but win7 seems to be great for playing games on and as far as devices go I have had no problems.
