Windows 7 is a cut above Vista, but watch out. If you have a multi-boot system like me, be aware that windows 7 alters the MBR in such a way that GRUB will no longer load. I have found answers to my problem, and a drive utility from Western Digital that restores the MBR. In my opinion, Microsoft had a great product in DOS 2.0 and 2.5. But there seems to be a philosophy in Redmond that a product release signals the beginning of in depth product testing. Makes me glad that Microsoft doesn't make cars.
