Windows 7 is about one hundred times better than Vista

Generally Windows 7 is about one hundred times better than Vista. Faster and more friendly, with smarter problem solving help.
I installed it in a dual boot situation with Windows XP Home on my new ASUS Eee Netbook PC.
The deeper i dig into Windows 7 the more impressed i have been, but.
When i tried to install the Encyclopedia Infopedia 2 it wouldn't work, since this is an old Encyclopedia i didn't worry to much.
I went out and bought Britannica 2009 Encyclopedia.
When this failed to install i became really pissed off.
I reboot the Netbook into Windows XP Home and i can install everthing without a hitch.
Problem seems to be one of screen resolution, the Netbooks native resolution is 1024 x 600.
Britannica requires 1024 x 768 or it will not install. In XP i can change the resolution to just about whatever i want.
Reboot into Windows 7 and i can only adjust the resolution up to a maximum of 1024 x 600.
So the hype about Windows 7 being great for Netbooks isn't all its cracked up to be.
So i will play around with Windows 7, but when i want to do something with my Netbook, i reboot into Windows XP and get things done.
