I have the exact same problem with the Windows 7 Explorer. Glad to see I'm not alone. Never seen anything like this before in other Window versions. I've been looking for answers for a couple of months, can't find solution. Major flaw.

I am having the same problem. Installed Windows 7 RC 7100, Windows Explorer works for a while, but after I click on files on my 2nd internal drive, flash drive or CD Rom files I get the glowing green bar and later the file icons disappear. Then a error comes up saying "Remote procedure failed and did not execute".
When I reboot, the explorer resets. I did notice that windows explorer works for me when I'm in the Safe Mode. First time I have run into this problem on any Windows system, major flaw for rookies like me. Not much on the net that I could find with any real salution.
