Windows 7 annoying simple things

There are some simple annoying things like I can't turn on the internet connection tray icon -
all icon display options are grayed out.

I see nothing compelling so far about Windows 7 RC1 to get excited about.

It seems to run O.K. but honestly so far it looks like Windows Vista Service Pack 3.

...and if people resisted Vista and wanted to keep XP I think MS will run into the same resistance - only more.

I don't have much to say because - well - it's boring.
