Windows 7 and Panda

Typical of all software proprietary giants trying to monopolize its industry, Microsoft and Windows 7 purposely design its OS to interfere with non Microsoft programs (eg: any browser other than IE, the slowest on the planet)!

Thus is the case for any security software as well…Windows Defender and firewall override other better software.

In the case of Panda Antivirus Pro 2010 Windows 7 will not allow Panda’s BETTER firewall to operate at all, as well as force Panda to work only in the background and “compete” with Defender (the joke of the internet security and antivirus protection software programs… there are SO VERY MANY BETTER programs to choose from and Windows 7 interferes with all but their own or their corporate “partner’s” software!).

You can NOT even run a scan manually, Windows 7 will NOT allow Panda to open. This did not occur in XP or even the disaster they called Vista (shortest living OS other than Me.)
