I agree no problems with 32bit programs,just make sure there being installed into c drive programs(x86) if they are 32bit programs.

Did you do an upgrade Install? If so, I would start over, doing a clean install. I have Win 7 (64 bit) on both my PCs, & have no problems installing 32 bit apps.
At the root of the C:\ Drive are 2 Folders; Programs & Programs (x86), where the 32 bit programs get installed.
