Early on in this saga, I read that W7 would have to be a clean install over RC1. Yesterday I read that W7 could be installed as an upgrade to RC1. So

Early on in this saga, I read that W7 would have to be a clean install over RC1. Yesterday I read that W7 could be installed as an upgrade to RC1.

So may I, with any amount of confidence, proceed to load and install my applications on my designated W7 machine which now has RC1 on it and thus be ready to “upgrade” to W7 next month.

BTW – tried for three days to “upgrade” from Vista to RC1. No worky…
