Will 64bit Vista drivers work for Windows 7 64bit

HI there,

I have a Gateway desktop, model GM5664, and am currently running Vista 32bit.

Now granted I am aware that 64bit drivers are different than 32bit drivers, but my real question is if the Vista 64bit drivers and the Windows 7 64bit drivers are the same?

I've been to Gateways site to try to get a jump start for a clean install of Windows 7, but they really didn't have any Windows 7 64 bit drivers.
