I to have been beating my head trying to find drivers for all my stuff.
Even though 7 installs all but my printer, and I've used Vista drivers for that, I've had to use a back door approach to get that to work, But everything still doesn't work right, Then again 7 has a way built in so I can run what I can't get to run with the stock drivers.

What I am afraid of is most mfg's are not going to put out specific drivers for this hardware as long as 7 will install it for them.

Which is fine by me, But what are we suppose to do if we have a part let's say a soundcard, It may run in 7 but not as good as if we had the stock program that allows us to tweak the settings a bit.

There are not many if any out at all but if you were to get the Vista drivers from you hardware manufacturer and extract them from the installer package with 7-zip they will work in most cases.I have helped a few friends install th RC and we did that for the drivers and had no problems.
