My Microsoft LifeCam VX6000 is not recognized by Windows 7 on my new HP PC even after several attempts using the supposed fix (LifeCam3.0 exe) provided by Microsoft.

I have windows 7 installed on both home computers i I run a Logitech pro 9000 and have an older Logitech installed on the wifes computer. we have no issues with either cam, they both work well and have full functionality. Could be your cam is to old or the mfg has not come out with compatible drivers yet. check the cam's mfg website for compatibility issues.
