Clean W7 installation on my 5 year old ASUS P4P800 system without any problem.
My Terratec DMX Fire 24/96 now runs smoothly; under Vista it stopped regularly with terrible noise.
My old Plustek scanner now functions well, but not at all under Vista.
Also installed W7 on an HP/Compaq laptop and on an HP dc7800 with 64-bit cpu, both without any problems.
All systems seem to boot quicker and especially opening folders and file transfer is much faster.
