Virtual XP Mode In Windows 7 Ultimate Not The Solution

by Jim Szondy

Hi,

For the past couple of months I have been trying to sync my iPhone with iTunes in Windows 7 64x Ultimate to no avail.

There seems to be driver issues with Apple and Windows 7.

Anyways I thought I would try The Virtual XP Mode that you can download with the Ultimate version of Windows 7 to see if that would solve the problem.

I was disappointed to find out that my iPhone will also not sync in the Virtual XP Mode. I was able to transfer my music files and apps. but not sync the phone.

I thought the whole ideal of XP Mode was to be able to use programs that were not compatible with Windows 7 but apparently this doesn't always seems to be the case.

I know that this might be a driver issue on my computer, but the fact that I have to go through all this just to sync my iPhone in Windows 7 doesn't seem fair.

Considering how popular the iPhone is you would of thought that Microsoft and Apple would of had these driver problems solved long ago.

Lets hope they get it right soon ? Virtual XP Mode is not the solution.

PS. Maybe I should just buy a Mac !
