Here is a fix that may work

Click Start
Type in msconfig, press enter.
MSCONFIG window will open,
Under services tab click on hide all Microsoft services
Then click on disable all
Check for any lx**_device service and enable if present
Afterwards, click on the startup tab
Click on disable all
Then click on apply, then ok
PC reboot is needed
After reboot, install Lexmark software
