Sony Windows Vista Upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate (Problems)

My Sony VGN-AR71M laptop. Was a Windows Vista and was upgraded to WINDOWS 7 Ultimate last November. Had a few issues in the beginning, but got over them etc:
But, the one I have now, I cannot find any way out of it.
On Windows Vista my Web Cam worked 100% also, so did my
In-built microphones. But, since up-grading to Windows 7 Ultimate, I have lost the use of both systems 100%.
All checks and tests say the systems are good and are working correctly. BUT THEY ARE NOT!!! I can get cd's to play and can hear calls coming in, but, can not answer the callers or send pictures via my web cam as this doesn't work!! Has anyone any answers that can help me sort this problem out??
(Since upgrading to windows 7 Ultimate, I have notice that the Drivers for the High Definition Audio devices has been changed to Driver Provider: Microsoft and Driver Version: 6.1.7600.16385. Where as with Windows Vista they were originally Realtek or Sigmatel Drivers)
