Seventh Heaven

Windows.

The mere mention of this word brings to mind one of the most successful operating systems of our time. Unless of course you’re an architect.

The Microsoft Windows series of
operating systems was one of the best operating systems
being both fresh and innovative.

The keyword is was.

Microsoft dominated the market with their innovative and radical design for operating systems with the very first of the line being Windows 1, nothing more than a mere graphical interface ran over MS-DOS.

After several years Microsoft Windows became a great operating system line earning the respect of not only the people but of other software developers, down to Windows XP.

Then on the 30th of January in the year 2007, Windows fell.

Windows Vista was expected to be the successor of one of the best Operating systems developed by Microsoft, Windows XP, but sadly it didn’t live up to expectations.

Many people suffered from compatibility issues and hardware requirements, to name a few, forcing them to downgrade their operating system from windows Vista back to Windows XP.

It wasn’t because Vista wasn’t what it wanted to be. It was because vista wasn’t what it needed to be. Windows entered seventh heaven.

But it seems like that was a good thing.

After Vista’s failure Microsoft decided to get back up on their feet and dragged something back from seventh heaven.

Windows 7.

This new operating system promises to give us beauty along with the strength of XP.

Hopefully Windows 7 will finally restore windows to its
former glory.
