Downloaded the initial version of Windows 7 on a drive with an XP partition.

It seemed to run well. After playing with it for two days I turned the computer off. Big mistake.

On the re-boot Windows 7 couldn't find required .dll files and not only would it not boot up but I couldn't switch to XP and boot up either. Very frustrating.

Went back to Ubuntu and had no problems. Decided to put Windows 7 on the hard drive by itself. Reformatted and loaded the software.

It seemed to work well. Had a power outage and again, Windows 7 decided to "eat" the .dll files.

Going back to Ubuntu and will wait until MicroSoft can fix Windows 7 as they eventually did with XP.

Hopefully it will not be like VISTA.
