I have a bookkeeping (32 bit) program which behaves erratically in windows 7 64 bit.
Sometimes when I display reports it will hesitate for four or five seconds and then display the report I want. This never happened in Vista 32 bit.
As well, I sometimes get an operating system memory error messages when I go to print documents. The error indicates that there is not enough ram.
I have 4 gigs of installed ram. If I shut my bookkeeping program down and re-boot it everything works fine again for awhile.
I have other 32 bit programs (MS Office 2007) and they work fine.
And I am running 64 bit printer drivers (Xerox Phaser 6180 MFP-D).
Any idea why my 32 bit bookkeeping program is dysfunctional in windows 7 64 bit?
