Question: Win 7 laptop wont connect to Vista Desktop

I have a home network with one Win 7 Laptop and two Vista Desktops.

The Laptop will Always find tone desktop but only occasionally find the second desktop.

I have checked my connections carefully following Ciprian’s turorial “Network Locations Explained” and am certain that they are correct.

Yet, when I have the network mapped from the Laptop, one desktop shows “Open” when the icon is right clicked and the other desktop shows nothing.

Note: both desktops can find the Laptop instantaneously, all the time.Any suggestions?

Thank you,
