- NOrmally I have no time to ‘play’ around with my computer. Deadlines is what I mainly know!! However, I have found the solution, after 8 mths, to ‘seeing’ page and section breaks:
Solution: Go into DRAFT viewing mode – and they appear.
It is very annoying to have to switch from draft to ‘print’ view all the time – but I have learnt that everything is more difficult, obscure and time-consuming on windows 7 as compared with Windows XP.
Another very annoying feature of Windows 7 is that you have to go in and out of ‘Insert’ to edit a header/footer and once you have edited then you have to go once more into the ‘Insert’ in order to close the header/footer !!
A third annoying feature of Windows 7 is that when you want to add a footnote you have to go into both Insert and then References. WHY?
A fourth annoying feature is that to design a table one has to go in and out of Lay-out and Design whereas in Windows XP everything could be done from the Home tab.
All this is excessively time-consuming.
