Not as expected/Another MS Rip Off

by Ricky
(USA)

Download the first one figuring it would install the missing Codecs, Just another Program to cost me $50 if I wanted it's full uninterrupted functionality.

Download the second choice once again figuring it would install the missing Codecs, it installed alright a program for Graphics Conversion.

It amazes me why MS wants me to use their Fancy Gleaming Media Player 12 that doesn't work as well as the Media Players of Old, example Media Player 7, Old XP use to be able to play anything.

Now I have to pay for program to convert it into a format that it can use I THINK NOT.

If MS doesn't want to fix it, I'll just continue to use VLC available off of download.com or sourceforge.net.

There is even a Media Player freely available that retros back to Windows '98 Media Player that will play anything as well. I also believe it's available off of download.com.

In short this is a well known problem since Media Player 10, and I don't understand why MS doesn't fix it.

You use to be able to go to MS download site and get it, But it's not there anymore?

Question is with all the improvements to Windows 7 why haven't they fixed this?

As a Wise Owl once said.

THE WORLD MAY NEVER KNOW....
