Windows 7 User Submissions

No Probems

The CNNMoney article is using bad numbers for sensationalism 31 percent have issue, The means 69 did not.

I would hazard to guess many of those who did have issue didn't follow the instructions and unload programs that might cause issues if you are doing an upgrade vs a full reload.

I loaded three machines one with 64 and the other 2 with 32 Home premium edition and all are working.

I agree that Windows 7 should be a little more upfront about not having E-mail, movie maker or synch capabilites unless you download the essentials but if you put Office on you get outlook.

I never saw any reason for outlook and outlook express.

I upgraded the 2 32 bit machines by simply inserting the disc and selecting the upgrade function and followed directions, including running the upgrade advisor before starting to make sure I had the required hardware.

If you have a old machine and try to upgrade it may not work stay with XP. You would be better off buying a new machine. For those of us who are living in the dual core age no issues.
