Alex K, I followed you directions until step 6,and I don't have a GPU settings category, any suggestions?

Found solution

1)Click the Power Options battery icon
2)then click More Power Options.
3)Select your current power plan
4)click Change plan settings.
5)Click Change advanced power settings.
6)In the Advanced settings tab categories box, expand the GPU settings category.
7)change the graphics mode "on battery" and "plugged in" to use the sli.



after doing that... you should be in SLI mode. You can now use your keyboard to switch between both modes.

8) After doing that.. you can go back and put the settings back to the default gpu settings.
