Not really viable on laptops
by: Van Houtryve

Though that may be a viable option on a desktop. I don't feel very confident on opening up my laptop to remove a graphics card.

So basically I'm pretty much screwed right now.

Thanks for the advice though :(

AGP GRAPHICS SUBSYSTEM PATCH
by: H.J MULDER

actually what you're and a million other beta testers problem wasn't your graphics drivers but like vista it has a bug in the agp subsystem , it was fixed in windows 7 beta , but some how Microsoft forgot to patch the rc1 version of windows 7. that was my only problem regarding win7

there was a workaround posted on Microsoft tech net
the solution came down to this , remove your 3d card and use on-board graphics , then after reboot , apply the patch towards the system & reboot. now reinstall your graphics card & install the latest graphics drivers. it worked like charm for me. but to be honest this was too much of a laborious task & had to be done every time you reinstalled win 7.
