So far I have sent 7 hours trying to get drivers that will get my realtek ac97 onboard soundcard working.

I have downlaoded numerous drivers and none have worked.

The support i got from Alienware was pathetic when I tried to speak to them.

Suffice it to say thus far, I would recommend anyone with an alienware to be very careful about making this change.
