way better than vista

faster boot than XP

uac is improved but the setting need to be more than a 4 posisition slider

faster cold start, slower warm start than XP. (for browsers specifically but true in general)

still uses a gig plus of ram

aesthetics are good, custimization is plentiful

default settings are crap for the average user
ps: microsoft: you do know that people dont like to be reminded of restarting there computer every 10 minutes right?

it trys to tell me that a program didnt install correctly simply because i cancelled.

overall slower than xp, considering i have aero on its expected so i think they finally got that right

hasnt crashed yet

notifications are bull shit,

home basic should have, those not ultimate.


copied the 3 gig iso file to flash drive in less than 10 secsonds, on xp. i couldnt believe it.

installed fine
