Windows 7 is driving me nuts, I work mostly on line and often skype, on a Toshiba Satellite T130. For no apparent reason when working on line the laptop

Skype causes my problems with IE

I found the Skype IE plugin causes Internet Explorer to stop responding. other plugins could be giving you problems. Try disabling all add-ons and enable 1 at a time. Not sure if this will fix the having to power off but should help with explorer.
