Windows 7 User Submissions

Les. Denning

I have been trialling Windows 7 RC, both the 32 bit and the 64 bit versions.

Having Vista Home Premium already I find Windows 7 is Vista with a new name from the day today user perspective.

Since the RC trial is of the Ultimate version and I would buy the Home Premium version having found the Windows Fax and Scan in the Windows 7 RC a good alternative to the HP software for my HP C5280 that I cannot get to install in Windows 7 (unrecognised OS), I am disappointed to discover on the forum that this useful utility is not included in the Home Premium edition of Windows 7.

To pay £50 more to get Windows Fax and Scan in Windows 7 Professional is not good value for money to me as a home user even at the pre-order prices I am afraid.
