Yes, I do agree with you.

But, when I say about that they don't need that profit, I'm saying that there's alredy a HUGE profit, do you mean? They don't really need all that profit that they're not getting with the "piracy", I belive.

And I put "piracy" in quotation marks, because I do not believe that this is really piracy. For me, has to be a profit to be considered as such. If someone sells cracked softwares (or music, movies...), that's piracy for me. And that is wrong, I believe. But the whole torrent community, for example, is just sharing. Once I saw an interview with Michael Moore about his movie "Farenheight 9/11" beeing "distibuted" over the internet. He said that he wasn't mad at all. That he makes his movies to show something important to the people, and he wanted them to see. And if they're seeing, that's what matters. Also, he said that he didn't consider that this is piracy, that this was like some one lendign his copy of the movie to a friend (or not, that doesn't matter).

I do believe in that: sharing. Lending. Borrowing. Not piracy.

The case of the artists is very clear. They never fought about they're music or films being shared over the internet. Who complains is the producers, and the industry (of music or movie). The artists wants his works seen for the people.

I do not believe in that piracy of sharing.

Thanks for your comment!

I don't think Piracy is right in any case.
But in a PC based world, you need an OS.
Yes there's Linux and at base usage it's GREAT!!!!
But while it's getting better everyday, It's far from being user friendly enough for the average JOE that don't know Jack about PC's other then how to turn them on.
To install and operate the Software they have to offer, I know I helped test several ed of Ubuntu.
So you have Windows and MS, I agree that the Price of the OS being more then your min wage is ridiculous, But It's just as crazy that it should cost almost as much as a weeks wage over here for the average person.
So then we wonder why there's Piracy I'd say most of those who use Pirated Copies of Windows, would Love to run the Legal Copies, but because of the price they just can't.
I don't say MS don't deserve to make a profit, but if they would lower the price a few $$$ I'd bet you'd see a drop in Piracy over all.
