I have an Upgrade question

I am considering getting an upgrade version 7 when it comes available and I will be installing it on a XP 3 computer.

Which is running 7 in a VM just to try it out at present.

I understand it won't be possible to to upgrade XP but will require a full install.

When I am asked for the Genuine MS XP disk for the upgrade install, will there be any problem on this particular computer which has had XP reinstalled many times ( for various reasons ie. Cleanups, Malware and different hardware upgrades. ) and so now requires a Microsoft new key for activation on any install.

Any foreseeable problems with this ?
