I have a Lexmark x1170 i can not get it to work by: Vincent
Clean install on new computer.
Followed Lexmark online instructions, used Vista 32bit drivers.
Find the printer in the tools, with a remark it needs update, but can not update. Can not find it when trying to print. Can not install the Lexmark interface for scanning.
Will try to install more drivers from not Lexmark sites.

At first couldnt get it work. Used the auto dl for the driver. Then mine personally comes up as two parts in win 7, 1 is scanner 1 is printer. Using that dl does the same.

You didn't indicate if a clean install or upgrade. If clean follow previous comment regarding using windows vista drivers.
