Native support built in Windows 7
by: Attila

Hello Bernie!

I had the same problem, but I tried to connect the printer to the PC without installing the drivers that came on the cd.

I was very surprised that windows recognized the printer, and connected to the windows update server, downloaded and installed the proper drivers. The memory card reader, scanner, fax and printing functions are all supported. In fact you get the very same "printer properties" window when you choose the printer in a software - you have the option of duplex printing and so on. As I say, it's the same driver.

I hope it helps you out.

This is an EXTREMELY easy fix
by: Britt

I'm not quite understanding if your printer isn't working or what your issue is with the drivers. However, there is an easy way to install the L7680 drivers for Vista.

1. Download the newest drivers for L7680 from HP.com

2. Right click on the drivers and hit properties.

3. Choose the Compatibility tab.

4. Check the "Run in Compatibility mode" and choose Vista Service Pack 1.

5. Hit "Apply" and then "OK"

6. Run the installation as normal and you won't encounter any problems!!

Windows 7 is the BOMB!! 11 out of 10
