Horrible Win 7 Ultimate

Right out of the box, it is slow to the point of constipation.

I've been wrestling with this mess, for 12 days and things are only getting worse.

False positives on drivers (whether they're operating or not) and every manner of error possible, with no end in sight.

This morning, I awoke to find I could not get into it! The opening screen simply cycled and cycled, it would not give me access.

In the rare moment it is operating to any degree, I find little difference between it and my up-to-date copy of Vista, except all the conveniences are gone.

Want to change what programs run when the OS opens up? Good luck, you cannot do it anymore. Anything that gives the user any degree of control, is now missing.

Windows also seems to be policing my hard drive- something which should be illegal, no? I know it used to be!

Windows 7 actually moved a simple text file of serial numbers for 3 expensive stereo tape decks I own, to the recycle bin, because the file was called 'serials'!

What's going on here? This operating system wasn't cheap either. Neither was the day I just blew trying to get into my desktop.

Starting at around 8:30 AM, I ran something Windows offers called "Desktop Repair", that suggested I go to a 'restore point,' which would have erased all my programs, including Firefox.
Ummmm....NO.

Windows 7 Desktop Repair then took over 3 hours to finish, told me it could not solve my problem, finally turning my computer off. When I hit the power button on the supposedly dead system, it eventually let me in; but sloooowly.

Where is the outrage for this mess? Am I the only person experiencing this? Doesn't Microsoft bear any responsibility for messing my life up, AGAIN?
Believe me, friends, I haven't even begun to write of the wondrous weirdness and non functionality Windows 7 Ultimate has dropped into my lap.

This is the WORST OS I HAVE EVER TRIED, hands down, no contest. I yearn for Vista, and I am not joking.
