I had not problem when I put windows 7 on the laptop from Vista, and network to my home computer to run printers, documents, pictures, etc. on your secured network running XP Home.Just make sure your main computer is under the same group name as you have set up on the laptop ex: homegroup. So far, all is good, and I just updated Oct 27
