Gateway M-6816 Laptop needs Windows 7 Bios Update

Have a Gateway M-6816 Laptop, originally loaded with Vista 32bit - intel Core 2 Duo Centrino system.

Upgrated to W7 and video is now very choppy, assume needs Bios update, gateway support site only provides update for Vista 32Bit.

Not sure how to make it work. Gateway support has to be the worst on the planet and are not only useless but rude as well.
