Gateway Laptops have driver problem with Windows 7

As a Gateway M675 laptop owner, I upgraded from XP Professional to Windows 7.

Gateway website does not have Windows 7 Upgrade for this model for driver downloading.

They only have XP drivers. So my laptop does not recognize XP Sound driver and hence there is no sound in my laptop.

Why this problem has not been recognize by either Gateway or Microsoft? Please any solution?
