My new laptop is windows 7 64 bit.
My hope was to play all my adventures on it to stop my husband griping about using the shared PC – my games always got the blame if the PC had a fault.
It was however a waste of money. NOT ONE of my games will load, most citing 64 bit as the reason, others just crashing while installing. Even simpler encyclopaedia programmes will not install for the same reason.
I am gutted. Suggestions from the laptop manufacturer are useles and are either daft or do not work. I had thought the point of 64 bit was better performance and speed, not total failure to function normally!
