Frontech Web cam not detected in Windows 7 Ultimate

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate Build 7100.

It neither detects the drivers for my frontech web cam nor does it accept the drivers which i have (manufacturers CD).

The installation setup never completes, it seems to have entered in to a deadlock.

I must admit that barring this exception, i was not asked for any other drivers like sound, display etc. - everything was smooth.

Would appreciate if somebody could throw some light on this.
