Explorer 8 freezes all the time

all the time, at the wrong time..with win 7, my explorer 8 keeps freezing..at the most impossible time..while ordering online or just surfing ; reading a very interesting article..it just stops working and i get the warning boxes..do i want to restart explorer or go to my homepage or restore last sesson.
I have not found a fix for this yet. And several of my clients report the same problem.
