Disappearing networked printers

We have just started deploying windows 7 machines on our domain and have discovered a problem with "disappearing printers".

I know that there is a HP problem, but recently I upgarded a HP7900 PC from Vista to Windows 7 (actually wiped and reloaded).

All has been going fine except twice now we have received a call from the user telling us his printers have all disappeared.

This happened again recently and this time it is the Ricoh MFD's (2) that have disappeared.

When we go to check it out they have reappeared. Does anyone know what could be causing this and if there is a possible fix for this?
