Charge a more reasonable price and no-one will bother to crack

I paid good money for Vista Business. I was very disappointed.

I called Microsoft. I told them that I did not want Vista any more. Could I please have my money back?

They said no, but I could downgrade to XP for free! Yippee. I already have a paid for version of XP.

So I stayed with Vista. It is probably the most unstable OS since 98 and one that MS want to forget about as quickly as possible.

I have heard that Windows 7 is much better. But I am not prepared to lay out a lot of cash for another OS only a year after buying the last one.
Why so many versions?

With such a huge market, MS could easily sell the product for half the price and still make healthy profits.

But MS tries to exploit the fact that they have a virtual monopoly on operating systems.
