Windows 7 User Submissions

I just bought an eMachines E725 laptop and cannot get it to connect to my wireless router.

The wireless indicator on the laptop is flashing but I can't find anywhere that tells me if this means its not working, its working, or what.

I have run connectivity troubleshooter several times and nothing works. Have tried unplugging modem and wireless router and still nothing happens.
