CAPS TOGGLE PROBLEM

When I toggle "CAPS ON" to "caps off", in Excel and Word 2007, the cursor disappears from the cell or location on the page.

I have to use the mouse to click it back to the proper location.

Any one have a solution to this annoying problem?
