Bug - Slow response after recovering from power save shutdown
W7 64 bit Gigabyte P55 UDR3 i5 processor. Letting system go to into power save mode computer/disks shutdown recovery to normal operation succeeds but response time is very slow.
Using resource manager it is evident that although the cpus are typically 1% utilisation, disk activity minimal and memory 3Gb is available responses to any action are very slow.
Every 60 seconds the max CPU frequency (blue line) drops to zero for a few seconds and then a peak of cpu activity immediately follows.
Also to shutdown (turn off) the system it hangs indefinitely.
To shutdown one has to do a reset and reboot then shutdown not a recommended method!
It would appear that disabling the power save process completely avoids the problem.
Can anyone provide a solution other than disabling?
