Brand new build win 7 64bit fails on first windows update

A great operating system unless you do the build yourself. First time connecting to Windows Update I got the cyclical BSOD.

I went through 2 motherboards and 2 types of Ram that Win 7 didn't like until I got the install which by the way went so slow!

Now that it's up I am constantly being told I have to install the updates and when I do it crashes. I'm sure glad I invested $140 in a 64b OS.!

I'm on my third day of troubleshooting and I feel like that kid who got his sucker stolen at the carnival...WTF?!
