So far I am not liking Windows 7 64 bit. I got the Windows 7 Home Premium edition and did a custom install on my Windows XP 32 bit… no problem.
I installed MS Office Enterprise 2007… no problem.
I installed Norton 360, again no problem. I go the Microsoft website and run updates for Windows… BIG PROBLEM!!!
Upon reboot, which I have not had an issue with until these updates, I see Starting Windows and the fancy little graphics and the after that animation I get a black screen with colored lines horizontally across the screen and then it just stays like that!
My only recourse, even after trying a restore from a previous reboot, is to re-install W7…
Any help with this would be most appreciated.
